Persephone by Nicholas John Greenfield

I am fully satisfied that with this article I introduce you a very  talented author.

“Born in England and educated in Australia, Nicholas John Greenfield has spent half his life exploring the world. From living in a tiny box of an apartment in Paris’ Montmartre to braving life in Mexico’s chaotic capital, Nicholas constantly seeks adventure on the road, arming himself with a pen, a piece of paper, and a bit of imagination.” as he was defined at

The story was written while the author was listening to the first three minutes of Beethoven’s Symphony No.7 in A major op.92 – II, Allegretto. That is the trick to be able to inhale  the atmosphere of “The Man”. A desperate man living in an enormous mansion trying to catch the memories… Although I felt a little half done with the story at the end , I really liked the tone of the words. I would love to read the rest of his works soon  and I am sure that he will catch so many reader’s attention. You can read the story online at;

Neil Gaiman’s “The Case of the Four and Twenty Blackbirds”

The Case of the Four and Twenty Blackbirds

“Humpty Dumpty had a great fall, all the king’s horses and all the king’s men
couldn’t put Humpty together again. Everyone said it was an accident but his sister Jill Dumpty was aware that the truth was something else. ”

Neil Gaiman take us to the world of Humpty Dumpty and investigates the case through the eyes of Mr. Horner. The idea is just amusing. You suddenly emerge into the fantasy world and don’t want it to be gone. If you are one of those short story lovers that just want to feel the joy of the sentences then this story might be the one for you. Dialogues in short stories often bore the readers but not in this one. You can find the story online at;
